Issues with navel piercing?
I had my navel pierced for 7 weeks now, and just had a dermal anchor put in underneath it a week ago. Now my navel piercing when I sea salt soak it, it draws out pus. It's not sore, it's not swollen, or red.
I'm doing 2 sea salt soaks a day, for the dermal anchor, and using a heat pack to aid healing. I've also found out I have an allergy to bandaid adhesive, as I've had to keep the dermal anchor covered, could this be part of my problem? What's going on?
just continue with the salt soaks and you could try putting a little neosporin on it( if possible take the belly ring out just for a second to apply neosporin to it and then put it back in). DO NOT continuously use alcohol on them, just like they advise. it can dry the piercing(s) out and cause more trouble. Every once in awhile is fine though if you have nothing else on hand to clean it.
